#1: One-ness.
We are one with nature and animals. And we are one with each other. Yes, we are. We reflect ourselves in each other in such an accurate way and everybody on this planet is an inalienable part of a bigger picture. The truth is, that we need each other. The good and the bad encounters. We all are here to go through a difficult and beautiful human experience, to learn and to teach.
My life practice is, that every person on my way is a important part of my journey. And I am truly grateful for every teacher I meet.
So what my mind bumped into lately: It’s interesting, how we judge each other and what assumptions we make about each other. I love observing people passing by when I’m standing still or just look at them in the train. I always find myself in them. In their sadness, their happiness, disinterest, silence, worries, anger and friendliness.
Though, when we are in crowded places, we often take the state of defense, kind of “please, don’t even think of talking to me” or “why the f are you looking at me” or “I hate people”. The glances we are throwing at each other are sometimes really scary.
My personal truth: we try to stay away from each other and don’t dare to talk to each other only before we really get into the state of compassion and love. In the state of compassion, understanding and love we will want to wish each other heaven on earth. We don’t really want each other to lose and seeing somebody suffering sucks. Seeing somebody heartbroken or homeless sucks. Seeing somebody crying sucks. Our feelings are connected to each other, if we let them.
So at times, when pure love overcomes all of my little, small-minded, judgmental ego, this is what happens:
I just want everybody to have a warm home and meals every day.
I want everybody in the world to have great friends of trust.
I want everybody in the world to feel love and loved.
I want everybody to live in a healthy and fit body.
I want everybody to be in a conscious and observing state of mind.
I want everybody in the world to be seen and appreciated.
I want everybody in the world to be courageous and live to the fullest – leaving people, work and situations which do not serve anymore.
I want everybody to have at least one hug a day.
I want everybody to make the experience to be a loved child and loving parent.
I want everybody to see their own greatness and shine.
I want everybody to know how it feels, when you’re moving towards your truest, best self.
After all we depend on each other. We have to recognize our power and responsibility for ourselves and each other.
Simple example: If I go out in a shitty mood to the crowded main station and somebody bumps into me, I will most probably have an unfriendly and angry reaction and it might destroy an hour or even a day of another human. The other human will go and think: this world is shit, I rest my guns. So I will be the proof for the “bad” in this world. And not only do I feel shitty, I make another person be out of balance too and this other person might go home in a bad mood and let it out on innocent family members and so on. This is the eternal cycle.
We need to understand what a huge responsibility each one of us has – for each other and the whole world. This is what we need today.
We are one. There’s no separation, there are no toxic people, there are no energetic vampires. There are our individual reactions, perceptions, feelings and responds. If we are aware, that everybody lives her/his own dream – we can be empathic enough to not cause more suffering in each others lives.
We can give so much more than we are giving. If you are reading those words now, I need your help in this. Promise me, from tomorrow on after waking up, making your bed and leaving the house, you’ll share a smile or a gift with somebody, who doesn’t feel as happy or who can’t afford the life you live. You can be there for somebody who needs you so much. It’s simple.
We just need each other.
