Lessons Learned In 2020 – Survival Guide

It’s been a while since I’ve written down some thoughts or articles but I have a strong need to share RIGHT NOW in those times of uncertainty and fear.

After I talked to two wonderful friends of mine, whom I was fortunate to meet during my travels in Portugal in 2017, I decided to put a few thoughts together and leave them here.

  1. The right people ALWAYS come at the right time. There’s no random person crossing our path. And the purpose of them is to make us see where we stand and how we relate to ourselves, to the world and others. And our purpose is the same mirror to others. Often I judge myself because I’m not responding the way I “should to” but also this is a big lesson – accepting everything we are. We’re eternal students of life and theres no such thing as failure.
  2. No time for LIES anymore. A revolution is happening right now. All the crap is finally coming to surface. All of us, everyone including the government, the media and each and every person is revealing her/his true essence. There’s no space anymore for “masks”, ignorance, illusions and curtains. This big shift, which we are living right now, reveals accurately who we are and for what we stand. It reveals with whom we will keep on walking and who will go with the wind. And it happens as fast as never before. It’s a good time to listen to life and to our intuition and let the past in the past. No more compromising and excuses. The only way is to stand in our truth and speak out. I’m grateful to witness and to be part of everything what happens in the world and what happens within myself. Grateful to make every experience which is crossing my path. Grateful to embrace constant change. As my good friends says: Its all a part of the divine plan.
  3. No time to hold on to emotions – what is released, is healed. And what’s healed can’t be triggered. A very important lesson for me is: There’s no time to suppress emotions – it’s time to let it ALL out in order to eliminate the trauma and pain we carry so dearly within ourselves. The more we suppress, the more accumulation of mental crap we collect in our hearts and minds. And its toxic. I often fear that others won’t accept/like me the way I am when I reveal all the palette of my emotions, my fears, my pain. But those who won’t  – will leave naturally. And the ones who will stand by our side – are our beautiful companions in this journey. I mean, we’re humans. All of us. This is what connects us from the first breath on. And Emotions are beautiful. And personally for me they are the source of my creativity and my faithful guides. They are the mirrors of my light and my darkness.
  4. Community is a big privilege.  If we find people with whom we can go through this transition it’s a big gift. Yes, it’s a gift and a privilege. Community is essential to us humans and it’s important to learn to appreciate the power of family, roots and chosen family. We ARE fighting together but at the same time fighting alone. Nobody can go this journey for us, we just can cheer up for each other and hold each others hand, because we want to. And it’s the most touching gift we can give each other. Being there for each other. Standing together. Spending time together. Sing and dance together.
  5. Responsibility is king. We are responsible for all what is there in our lives. We have the superpower to say yes or no to certain things, situations and people. Responsibility is not easy but it’s rewarding as right HERE in this responsibility the ultimate growth starts. And where there is growth there is life. And where is life there is movement. And movement makes us feel most alive. And aliveness is what we all seek, one way or another. (When you feel like there’s no way out and you find yourself in an awful abusive situation in life where you can not see an exit and the responsibility can’t be taken, please look for help!)
  6. The divine plan: Everything we experience right now, the waves of emotions, the pandemic, the breakups, the breakdowns, the confusion, fear, deep loneliness, longing for belonging, existential crisis, longing for freedom, energy shift, awakening, “sudden” clairvoyance, dreaming a lot, nightmares, sharp intuition, depression … everything is indeed a part of the ultimate divine plan which will lead us to freedom, love and unity. I’m choosing to believe this, even if my human mind is slowly losing hope. I won’t let this happen. Because we are one big family and nobody, especially not the government, can divide us. We will be walking together in respect, love and abundance for many many lives. We are all light already, we have everything we need, we have all the possible gifts to live “the utopia dream of Pandora”. It’s around the corner. And my friends reminded me on this … and it makes me believe in the Good, in times which seem hopeless.

Take care of yourself and your loved ones!

Much love,

Fam.

Dear Olga, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I feel connected to you and your words. You find the right words for what I feel inside – let it be joy or frustration. I got to know you at a session at the Rhine in 2019. We sang and played the drums. You brought light to us with your healing voice and sound of the guitar. Deep thank you from soul to soul. Aho Sandra
