5 Reasons why I choose to be Switzerland

I’ve never been so impressed by a country! I’d rather say I love Switzerland. Here’s why:

  1. Multilingual, success-minded & beautiful people
  2. Proud people, proud of their own country
  3. Because of the success-minded & beautiful, proud people – wealth everywhere you go
  4. Because of beautiful, proud, wealthy people, who respect their country and each other and in front of all themselves – blinding-beautiful, rich nature.
  5. Because of the blinding- beautiful nature – happy, life-loving, proud, beautiful people. Full stop.

Seems like they have it all. A small group of chosen people? I doubt it, because here’s what I feel about this country & at the same time what lesson I learned for myself how to be Switzerland:

Well, Swiss-people support their country as much as they can, that’s why everything works so well. They buy food at the store next door instead of in a supermarket, even if they pay a double price, they know that if they won’t support the local granny who sells fresh local vegetables with a lot of local love – his/her business gonna die. But why should something beautiful die? It should not. So they create “life” around it by supporting him/her. A little drop in the ocean, but that’s what makes the big picture work FOR you, not against.
They don’t smutch the streets, they keep the lakes clean, so guess what? – the streets are clean and you can swim in the lakes without getting a skin-disease after it. It feels like all in all the swiss-people don’t really care, as much as other countries (and the other counties inhabitants), what happens in the (outside-) world in sad terms of (for example) politics, because they concentrate on what happens right here around them or inside them.
Everyone creates a micro-world where everything is just right, where they make a conscious decision to live a happy and contented life, a decision to focus on the beauty which lies everywhere. And if everyone creates it in the micro-world, can you imagine what kind of atmosphere lies in the air of the whole swiss population of approx. 8 Mio people ?! I felt like I was 2 days in paradise, where fireworks have the form of hearts (Seenachtsfest Rapperswill-Jona 2015) and the air you breath in makes you feel so fabulous, so that you just do not want to lose this feeling.
Maybe they’re not chosen, they simply choose to be that way. They choose the beauty & a sexy and inspiring life. They choose to be Switzerland. I choose to be Switzerland.*
But how can you become Switzerland? By staying there? Of course, it’s a great possibility. But easier is – to start creating your own little, sexy, happy micro-world which works for you, doesn’t matter where you are. Your own happiness and your own dream. If Switzerland can be Switzerland, so can everyone else, huh!

* “Being Switzerland” means by (my) definition: being the wholehearted perfection in a unique and authentic way. Or being as cool as Snoop Doggy Dog is, lol. It’s a metaphor for waking up, for consciously chosing the right way to have the highest quality of life, you want to have. Mentally, physically, emotionally.
